Full Terms

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Paevita (“the Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Definitions

Service means the Paevita web and mobile applications, including all associated features and content. Content means images you upload, the result data we produce, and any text, graphics, or information provided through the Service. Third Parties means any individuals or organizations other than you and Paevita.

3. License & Restrictions

We grant you a non-exclusive, revocable license to use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not reverse-engineer, copy, redistribute, sell or sublicense the Service, or use it to build a competing product.

4. User Content & Privacy

You retain ownership of the images and data you provide. We store your scans only to power OCR, ingredient lookup, and to improve the Service. Upon account deletion, your data will be permanently removed. We employ industry-standard safeguards (encryption, access controls) to protect your data.

5. Disclaimers & Warranties

The Service is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind—express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. The application may occasionally produce incorrect or incomplete results.

6. No Medical or Nutritional Advice

Paevita is designed to help you identify ingredients—it is not intended to diagnose, treat, or prevent any disease, nor to replace professional medical or dietary advice. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional for medical or nutritional decisions.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event will Paevita, its affiliates or licensors be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages (including lost profits) arising out of your use of, or inability to use, the Service. Our total liability to you for all claims will not exceed the greater of (a) USD 50 or (b) the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access for any reason, including misuse of the Service or violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

10. Changes to Terms

We may revise these Terms at any time. When we do, we’ll post the new version on this page and notify you by email or in-app notice. Your continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
